What is Reiki?

Reiki is a form of alternative therapy commonly referred to as energy healing.Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is a natural and proven technique designed to unblock and direct energy flow. It is a gentle and non-invasive method that strengthens the body’s natural ability to heal itself.


What does a session entail?

A complete Reiki session is offered to a fully clothed recipient who is lying on a treatment table or sitting comfortably supported in a chair.

Most commonly, Reiki is offered through light, non-invasive touch with the practitioner's hands placed and held on a series of locations on the head and front and back of the torso. 


What will one experience?

Most clients feel a sense of relaxation and peace. The mind may feel calm and your physical body should feel relaxed. Reiki is so relaxing that sometimes clients may fall asleep during the session. Don’t worry though, you will still receive all of the benefits of the session, sleeping or awake. It is different for all clients but deep relaxation is almost always felt. Those who use Reiki regularly often find they are more joyful, lively and their own energy is enhanced.
